Lost to the Winds
Posted outta boredom. O.o Tell me whatchya think ^_^
Here I am
The sun is rising again
Giving life to a new day
Laying fire on my skin
And stinging my eyes
I want to turn away
Get lost in another dream
Shut the door
And silence the unforgiving
Bathing in moonlight
My mind at ease
I can't face
A new beginning
Without promise
Everyone around me
Has walked on into
Expected destinies
Success so easy
For all of them
I don't understand
Why everything I do
Is a failure
I guess I'm not meant
To be
Lost to the winds
Scattered like hope
Hope forever lost
Warm tears upon my cheeks
Here I am
Letting it all just drift away.

Oooo nice. I like the shortness of the lines; and you didn't overcomplicate it by adding in a ton of extra words, just the ones needed (Did that even make sense? lol  ) Well I'd like to read some more of yours if you'd post em.

If you wanna read more, then go to allpoetry.com and search for my user name on there. 'Ghostly Theatre'. I have over 100 poems up on that site.. lol. so. I might post things on here again from time to time but if I put my stuff anywhere, it's there.
