EMPTINESS is what I'm left with

Okay...this is my 1st poetry thread. I hope you like it smile

I cannot fill this emptiness
No memories to remiss
How could I lose something that was already there?
How could emptiness leave a spot so bare?
What could have been,
what should have been,
Will never be
But you will always be apart of me
I dream of you behind hidden tears
I call your name, but nobody hears nor answers
Selfishly my heart receives an angered tug
At the thought of just one hug
How others don't realize or appreciate
That to hear a voice that you love, they don't have to wait
I would give anything, pay any fee
Just to see you standing next to me
To hear your voice, your laugh, and to ask you a question...
But this an empty confession
These dreams cannot come true
For you don't ever want to see me again
I can be strong and try to go on alone
An inner strength I have come to own
For without your warmth this world seems so cold and pointless
As my hart feels now
But I take life in stride and try to become bold
Though you are not here to comfort me with your presents
Through my life you still reflect
I will never hear your voice, nor feel your touch
I can try to accept this
but this love I have for you
Is impossible to ignore

I can't write poems............................. the only reason that one was good was cos i wrote it to my gf, i wanted to tell her how i felt with out her

Okay heres another one, hope you like big grin

The spell you cast on me is now broken
My head is now my own once more
I am no longer your palm , I am not a token
For you to use to comfort your soul

Its been so long since we have spoken
But still every time I think a thought
That strays your way my anger flares
Too many times I would wake up
In your arms that were never there

You branded me as your own
Carving your name into my burning flesh
and the entire time you were unaware
Of how I drifted away, out of your reach

I'm floating away
Running from you
Drifting up to the sun and it burns
Melting my flesh away, melting your brand
And I'm free
