Blood Dance

blood runs through my fingers
fingers to the floor
its stained my skin
now I see flesh no more
it runs from my eyes...
and the wounds that I cause
it seeps around my feet
still, I have no remorse
in the darkness I lay watching
the darkness
and in the nothing that stares back
I see
me
I offer myself unto your mercy
I have offered you all
weakened by hatred of hate
I know nothing else
though I offer a bridge to my soul
no one has yet crossed to save me
perhaps the monster on the other side
is more a monster than I am
and in my blood dreams you come to me
and dance the dance of death
dance to the dreaded pleasures I offer
the pleasure oh the pain
the ecstasy from which I gain
and yet when I wake
blood runs through my fingers
fingers to the floor
its stained my skin
now I see flesh no more
