Marea's Mind Babble
Just some of my poetry.
Little Pink Ribbons
She sits infront of the mirror
and looks at the marks on her chest
The scars that looks like little pink ribbons
and a small tear falls from her eyes.
She should be happy thats she is alive
but she looks at her complexion
Her pale white skin,
The black marks under her eyes
Her hair is thining out
Her frame nothing but skin and bone
and a small tear falls from her eyes.
Will she be strong enough to continue the fight
Will their be someone out there
who is willing to love her looking like this.
She slams her hand into the mirror
and watches as the blood trickles down the mirror
Then a small tear falls from her eyes.

White Sheets
With sheets the shade of innocence.
She lays upon them and patiently waits for him
Waiting for him to come to her
and to embrace her desires.
Looking in the mirror her eyes see a freak
While his eyes witnesses her beauty.
He pulls her close to him
And vows he would never let go
Wrapped in sheets of white.
The search begins
He maps her entirely
And kisses every part of her body.
She gasps from his soft touch
As dwells underneath the sheets
Love has now led to desire
Sheets wisp with each passing moment.
She closes her eyes really tight
as she finally gives her self to him.
And the long months of waiting
Are finally here and now.
She whispered words that he cannot make out
and she smiles knowly that just for one night
Her cancer doesn't matter
Because she feels that she is finally his...
