Jadeily's World

Hai all happy
I'm just starting over with a new thread, and a proper serious one as well. I compose lyrics, and sometimes a tune to it as well. I write poems as well, based on my experiences, life in general and some even people in general.

I shall start off by posting the very first song I wrote, and this one has no tune laughing out loud I wrote this after one of my friends who is in college, got dumped by her boyfriend. He dumped her by a letter, and he used green paper to write on. So this one was inspired by that incident, and it is a little on the humorous side, some may find it amusing, some may not like it lol.

I do like criticism, and if you have any, feel free to dish it out politely please. Thank you smile

Green Paper Heartbreak

Waking up one Saturday morning
Thought everything was fine
Reaching out and finding an empty space.
Got out of bed and searched all the rooms,
His things were gone and the door was locked.
Oh no, it can't be true.

There was a green paper stuck on the bathroom mirror
Which in his writing it said, "Goodbye my dear"
Knees buckled and tears spilled as i sat on the floor
Couldn't believe he'd packed his things and walked out the door

Ooo green paper heartbreak
You're just something I can't take
Ooo green, green oh green paper heartbreak
Didn't think I'd get my first heartbreak in the loo.
Didn't think anyone could be so God damn cruel

Made myself breakfast and drank some cooling tea
Remembering the last thing he said was, "Goodnight sweetie"
He'd pecked me on the forehead and pull me to his chest
Who knew something so beautiful could turn into such a mess?

Ooo green paper heartbreak
You're just something I can't take
Ooo green, green oh green paper heartbreak
Didn't think I'd get my first heartbreak in the loo.
Didn't think anyone could be so God damn cruel
Didn't think anyone could be so cruel, oh-oh
Never knew a piece of paper could change my state of mind
Ohh green paper heartbreak, you're just one of a kind.

This one was written quite some time ago; say, 8 months or so?
Written while I was a confused, lost kid and of course, on the verge of giving up. Had the whole "**** the world" attitude.

Just Maybe

It's a dark night,
There's no light,
Someone light a candle for me.
Tell me a story
And maybe
Just maybe
With a happy ending
So I can learn to live again

However long in the night, the dawn will come
The sun shall rise and I hope that the clouds never fade
I wish it's true, that clouds do have a silver lining
But I'll try, I'll fight, I'll prove to myself and everyone else
Just maybe, just maybe...
I'll change.

The world is full of suffering
The cheats, deceit and all the pain
But take a step back and open your eyes
There's some beauty in midst of all the lies

Don't build a wall
It will only get in the way
Learn to love, to live, to laugh
Even though you're surrounded by the darkness
Just find the light in the dark and you'll never lose your way.

However long in the night, the dawn will come
The sun shall rise and I hope that the clouds never fade
I wish it's true, that clouds do have a silver lining
But I'll try, I'll fight, I'll prove to myself and everyone else
Just maybe, just maybe...
I'll change.

Seven Colours; A Rainbow

Seven colours
One rainbow
All so pretty and bright
We have red, orange and yellow
Followed by green, blue and indigo
Violet would be the last in the row.

Is there a meaning behind each colour?
Do they represent emotions, feelings and such?
How I wish I knew.

Red could present anger
Hatred, revenge and pure evil
It could also present a passionate love
Something many thirst for and is beautiful

Orange and yellow
The two colours that always seem to follow one another
They remind me of the sun, and a meadow full of yellow flowers
What about you?

Green is easy on the eyes
Green appears to present peace and calmness
But it also seems to present jealousy
Which could it be?

Indigo and violet
The two colours hardly ever mentioned daily
Royal, regal and interesting on its own.
Not dull, but they both often stand alone.

A Chance

Looking out the window,
Iím drowning in my sorrow,
Canít you open your eyes and ears?
Just listen to what Iíve got to say.

Do you know how much it hurts me?
Seeing you with her,
I canít take the pain anymore,
Itís just too much to bear.

I want it to be me, who puts that smile on your face,
I want it to be me, who youíll kiss in the rain
I want it to be me, I just donít understand
Why canít love just give me a chance?

Itís difficult to go on, without hearing your voice
Itís difficult to make a choice without you to guide
What did I do to deserve this pain?
Will I ever find my prince charming?
How long will it take till Iíll be fine without you here by my side?

Oh, you donít know how much I wish
That it could just be you and me again
Oh, how I cry and cry all night
Tears of sadness, bitter and spite
Oh, how I wish you were still here, holding me in your arms so tight

I just donít understand.

These are OLD poems. Like two years old or so

WARNING : The poems below are rather... sucidal. I was a real effed-up kid, being emotionally unstably at 12 years old and such...

What Used To Be

Feeling so empty inside,
I gaze out the window and think of what used to be.
What fun we had,
What joy we shared,
The times it felt like no one else was in the world except you and me.
Your smile brightens my day,
You brought joy everyday,
Where did it all go wrong?
I try hard not to cry,
Especially when you said goodbye,
I lie down and think of what used to be.
I remember the first time we talked,
We laugh, we teased, we joked,
But when you left, only then I woke.
Donít you know my heart is hurting?
Donít you know how hard it is to keep from crying?
You donít know what I feel.
Deep inside, you have no idea what I feel.
I close my eyes and think of what used to be,
Maybe we werenít suppose to be.

Sucide

Shards of glasses scattered on the floor,
Again, blood has poured,
Gashes of wound on my wrists,
Ah, the smell of blood I adore.

Penknives, blades, rusted metals,
Can take the pain away slowly and gentle,
Bloodís gushing out, quick, and furious,
I do it again, till I feel nauseous.

Angel of Death

He lies in the darkness,
Watching your every move,
Watching your every step,
Heís waiting for the moment,
Counting till the seconds you die,
Heís the Angel of Death,
He wants you dead,
He wants your soul,
To bring it back to the Kingdom of Death.

Hell Awaits You

Hell is waiting for you,
Waiting to swallow you up into the depth of darkness,
Its flames,
Waiting to burn your skin and tear the flesh off your bones,
Its monsters,
Waiting to feed on you, feed till nothing is left of you,
And Iíll be there,
Watching you, smiling,
Enjoying seeing you die, burn and vanish in the mouth of Hell.

Last Night

Last night as I laid in bed, my love
I began to think of you and dream
My darling, you're more precious to me than a treasure-trove.
I envision you enveloping me in your arms
Feeling peace, secured and warm.
The desire I feel to be with you right there and then
Oh, my sweetheart, how I wish I could overcome this pain.

I begin to dream of your beautiful face
A beautiful face which not even the best artist could ever trace, perfectly.
I find myself looking into your eyes
Which radiate like a thousand pillars of heavenly light
Eyes which have seen so much misery, darkness yet be so full of love and might.

I begin to dream of your mind
Filled with knowledge, facts and intelligence
Getting to know you and going deeper into the dark depths of your mind
Honey, you truly are one of a kind.

Last night as I laid in bed, my love
I began to think of how much more important you are to me
Then a million of treasure-troves.
