Ryu Hayabusa runs the gauntlet
Here is the Ultimate Gauntlet match. Actually, it's something more of a survivial match.
Ryu Hayabusa is armed with nothing but his Dragon Sword, a stash of Shurikens (which can be replinished) and a LIMITED supply of Ninpo tricks. No backup from Rachel or Ayane.
Ryu has to survive in Capcom's survival horror games...but this time, the difficulty is MUCH harder (Japanese Difficulty meets SNK Boss Syndrome) and there are different variations to the monsters.
But one thing IS absolute. With the exception of Resident Evil 4, every zombie will turn into a Crimson Head within 10 minutes, and the Booby-trapped Forest Speyer will show up. Ryu hits him in ANY way...BOOM. While in Resident Evil 4, from the start to the finish, the three versions of the Chainsaw Ganados (Doc Salvador, the Bella Sisters and Big Salvador) are more frequent. He can still buy stuff from the Merchants though. Instead of Ashley, Kasumi is the woman he has to rescue

what the hell is anything from re going to do to provide any challenge for ryu  those things die easy enough with re gameplay/regular humans.
the sword is all he needs. y would kasumi need rescueing from re things?

You're right. The sword DOES give hm an unfair advantage. So...
So Hayabusa will have to go through this HUNK-style. Hand-to-hand. No Ninpo or ANY OTHER ninja tricks. Shurikens will remain, but are limited in supply. Dragon Sword is only enabled during most boss fights when hand-to-hand is out of the question.
Lisa Trevor will also hinder him in RE2 and 3. Hunters in RE1 through 3 can decap after one attack.
But it's still not hard enough. So...the Axeman, Titan and the Stalkers will make an appearance in 2 and 3.
Also, in Resident Evil CVX and 4, he will also have to go through Albert Wesker.
And the Chainsaw Ganados are much more stronger and attack en masse in several locations, setting up ambushes.
Is that hard enough for you?

ryu can just clear the whole mansion by jumpin ontop of it and casting some super ninpo attack which destroys the mansion.
or just go doa style and kick the shit out of everything and do some super spinning suplex on hunters. hell any1 from doa would have no trouble beating up a bunch of tyrants, hunters, ganados, etc.
