Team Sacred Force vs Rayden
At the conclusion of the 1997 King of Fighters Tournament...
Team Sacred Force, which consists of Kyo Kusanagi, Chizuru Kagura and Iori Yagami watch as Yashiro Nanakase and Shermie, both under the Orochi influence, take their own lives in front of Chris, which triggers his transformation into Orochi.
Before the fight can take place, Orochi is struck down by lightning. The three good guys look up and see Rayden (i.e., in his MK2 costume) doing his best impression of Emperor Palpatine on their enemy.
Orochi is down for the count and reverts back to Chris. The God of Thunder descends down on the three KOFers in a display of raw power. Chizuru is dumbfounded. Only the flames of Kusanagi were supposed to hurt Orochi and the newcomer has laid him out.
Now, the trio decide to test their mettle against Mortal Kombat's resident Thunder God.
