Sorry, but I have to ask… COUPLES GAUNTLET? How does this work? Do they have to survive longest in their relationship? Do they have to outsex the other couples? OR do they simply fight the other couples?

Oh yes he can. Please humor me by telling me what Ryu, Chunli, Link, Shiek, Nightmare, Tira, Ayane, Hayate(ROFL), Hayabusa & Rachel can do to stop Dante. Maybe if they all fought him together at the same time, but alas that is not how the match goes.
Do consider pretty much all of them wield blades...that will do nothing to Dante. Do note Dante is leagues above them in terms of speed and versatility.
By all means do tell me how any of them will stop Dante.
Megaman was excluded because the robot boy is tough, and was not included in my original "Dante solos the couples," statement.
