Gen vs Kyo Kusanagi and Terry Bogard
Round One: Terry Bogard
Ryu has told Terry about Gen. From what Terry has heard, Gen is a true grandmaster and Ryu has a high degree of respect for him, despite his past as an assassin.
Always one to test and improve on his skills, Terry confronts Gen in Hong Kong. The Lone Wolf, showing a great deal of respect to Gen, challenges him to a match.
Not having a good workout in a while, Gen accepts the challenge.
Round Two: Kyo Kusanagi
Three weeks later, Kyo is on Ryu's trail in an attempt to goad him into a rematch. However, Ryu is currently fighting Sagat. Before Kyo could interfere, Gen stops him. Claiming that Kyo has no honor in interfering in a much-anticipated rematch, Kyo gets mad and decides to fight the old man.
