because he beat maul ( even if it was by a stroke of luck)
they were both taught by Qui Gon, xanatos is metally unstable and depressed though. OBi is a far better apprentice, and xanatos is a b1tch, because qui gon whips that @s4 and the pu$$y kills himself.

Xanatos, because his hatred to Obi-Wan is too intense. As a young padawan Obi will not hold the dark rival. But a movie Obi-Wan will crush Xanatos.
