8. Meh, a "Getting used to the suit" Vader took out 5 of them. I wouldn't put OT Vader to get past this.
He doesnt go down at 4, he goes down at 7. Arguing that Anakin would defeat Vader is bullshit, Vader had way more experience, dark side knowledge and control. He may or may not have lost potential, that is uncertain, but even if he did it doesnt matter...Vaders actual experience makes up for lost potential.
I remember seeing Anakin drop Dooku in a minute and a half. I remember seeing Anakin beat Cin Drallig with one hand. Vader's strong and all, and would likely beat the emotionally conflicted Anakin on Mustafar.
he wasnt fighting seriously. he wasnt allowed to kill anakin. he could have owned ani if he wanted to. it is called pick up an choke. no dooku wasnt fighting seriously.
In Labyrinth of Evil and ROTs, it's made rather clear Dooku has to fight seriously or the test'll be for nothing...and in ROTS, Anakin will kill him. Dooku describes Anakin as the finest Djem So specialist he's ever seen in rOTS
dooku was too arrogant, he was possibly a better duelist, but he underestimated anakin a great deal. vader and maul have fought, it was in a star wars tales, so i dont know how seriously anyone wants to take it. it ended up with mauls skill proving better than vaders brute force. in the end vader had to stab himself through the chest to kill maul. he lived, obviously, but only won through using tricks. maul vs vader would be the coolest and closest match here.
hed be dropped hard by rots anakin and rots obi wan, individually or together. i think aotc anakin and obi wan have a decent chance. vader has awesome strength, but strength wasnt what kept dooku alive, it was speed and precision, both of which vader lacks. hed be busy trying to hammer one of them into submission and the other would score a lethal strike. if he used the force alot he might possibly take them, but overall hes just too slow for skilled multiple opponants attacking from different angles. unless of course anakin ran in and tried to take him alone again, in which case hed be put down hard, leaving vader to probably kill obi wan.
Dooku was a much better duelist than Anakin. He was probably testing Anakin's strength to see how much he's improved, but in that time Anakin got a power boost from his rage and overtook Dooku when he was fighting at a lesser level.
1. Vader beats Maul, Maul puts up an okay fight.
2. Vader wins but the duo put up a good fight.
3. Vader pwns. Sidious wtf pwnd Kit while fending off Mace. Kit lost to Asajj Ventress. What has Kit ever done to make him on this gauntlet above Ki-Adi and Plo? To even be above Maul is debatable.
4. Yeah... Vader loses. Anakin besically is Vader except without as many flaws - not quite as much overconfidence, not as blinded and conflicted, either. Anakin wins.
5. If Vader somehow makes it here he loses just like in ROTS.
6. But Vader could probably beat these two if he fought them. I mean, Dooku pwnd this team. This team's not stronger than Plo and Ki-Adi, no way.
7. He gets pwnd if he makes it here.
8. Are you kidding? Why are these fools way above here? Did you even read that comic? If suited Vader can beat those fools so can ROTS Vader. The only good Jedi in that lot was Tsui Choi. A few of them were okay, the rest sucked.\
Edit: Wait, is this ROTS Vader? Or is it OT Vader? Please clarify.

The quality of fightscenes is relative to the time the movie was made, if the OT was made today then Vader would be fast like the PT characters. Flawed interpretation is not a valid basis, if anyone has documented proof that Vader is slow, then provide it, otherwise you have no argument.
almost anything hes in hes depicted as slow. official rots game, slow and powerful, rise of vader, slow and powerful (although he was only new to the suit so he would have gotten faster). in some comics hes depicted as fast, but i think its kind of dumb to make out hes just as fast and agile as he used to be. or as fast as a jedi master. he has more reach and more power to make up for it, but he is slow and reletivly awkward.
he could take out a jedi master, but not through speed and agility, it would be power and intimidation. i think its just a generally accepted fact that hes slow in comparison to other jedi or sith. i wouldnt say hes slow in comparison to a normal person, he wouldnt have any trouble taking on a highly trained human (which hes done before with complete ease). but up against a great swordsman like dooku, maul or obi wan he would prove to be alot stronger, but also alot slower.

I don't see your "documented proof" that Vader is really fast.
The movies are as canon as it gets. If the movies show Vader as slower than PT characters, guess what? He IS slower than PT characters. Your arguement that Vader is really fast is flawed because the OT wasn't made today. You don't know that he would have been a fast duelist if the OT was made today.
Unless Lucas contradicts something in the movies, stuff happens how the movies portray them.

I never argued that he was really fast, just that there is no proof that Vader is slow. And you are missing the point, your interpretation of how fast Vader moves isnt a valid basis for an argument...
For instance, Yoda is green, thats a fact we can gather from the movies. But how well characters fight is subjective interpretation. An interpretation, which is further messed up by 70s movie-making.

Yeah, I was going to point that out too. Also, Vader isn't slow in ESB. He moves like a normal person, only, with much more power. Vader is still agile, he just doesn't seem that way because his saber style plays off of his incredible strength. Even if he did lose a little speed, his new strength and durability from his sit more than make up for it.
