Rots Anakin vs. Clone Wars Grievous

Who wins?

Round one: Anakins in beserk Z0MG mode, like when he was fighting Obi-Wan.

Round two: Anakin is calm and focused.

Round three: Anakin is calm and focused, but cannot use the force.

Anakin, all three rounds I believe. However, what is the specifications for Round Two? Is this when he was on Invisible Hand?

Anakin doesn't really have "modes" that effect his fighting. Example: When put against Dooku, he fought him, and began to give into his anger naturally and started beating Dooku. Dooku told him that he has hate and anger, but he doesn't use it to make Anakin realize that he was already using his emotions, so he started to fight like a Jedi, and it evened out, with an edge to Dooku due to Anakin being confused. Then, instead of losing, Anakin simply chose to win. He had the power to do it easily, and all it took was giving into his anger.

I say Anakin wins all three.

1. Anakin goes beserk, can't concentrate right, is unable to block Grievous's sixteen strikes per second, and dies.
2. Anakin wins with difficulty.
3. IYou mean can't use Force powers, right? If that's the case Anakin still wins, but with a LOT of difficulty.

Wasn't the whole 16 strikes per second thing said about RotS Grievous? CW Grievous would likey be able to fight even quicker.

Anakins speed is top notch, and, Dooku, who wasn't able to keep up with Anakin, had no trouble blocking Greivous' attacks.

And as to the general's combat skills, few, if any, Jedi would be capable of defeating him. There had been moments during the extensive combat sessions when even Dooku had been hard-pressed to outduel the cyborg.

And Kenobi just happened to be THE master of the form that Grievous was weak against, plus that was ROTS Grievous, and CW Grievous is stronger. No, Anakin wins but it's not easy.

CW grievous loses in all three

1. Dooku managed to outduel cw grievous barely but he manged to do it, Anakin outdueled dooku, therefore Anakin >grievous for refrence read labyrinth of evil, or better yet up the page where it says dooku albeit with some difficult beat the general

2. Anakin will be much better defensively when he keeps his composure and therefore be able to defeat grievous

3. Isn't really fair as jedi use the force extensively when lightsaber fighting, they use passive force techniques that improve their speed and allow them to forsee their opponents movements so define cannot use the force as if he's cut off completely it's his human ability against the ability of a cyborg, he'll be as good as a one legged man in an ass kicking competition

What is TOTS? You mean ROTS? Sorry to tell you but ROTS kenobi is more qualified to beat Grievous because he uses Soresu and also this is EU Grievous, not ROTS Grievous.

Round 1- Grievous To fight Grievous you have to be completely concentrated with what your doing, Grievous is so fast, that if you lose concentration for 1 second, your dead.

Round 2- Anakin easily.

Round 3- Anakin You probably mean without Force powers. Obi-Wan defeated Grievous with just lightsabers and Anakin is a lot better.

Anakin wins the first two rounds easily. Grievous uses his brute force to demolish Anakin in the third round.

In the end, Skywalker walks away with a 2-1 win over Grievous.

i wasn't aware that OB1's defensive form killed GG, i was under the assumption that it was a blaster that luckily sitting next to where GG tossed him, when he threw OB1 like a little rag doll.

And Anakin take this. GG is no OB1, so Anakin going berserk will have little affect on the outcome. It took 12 minutes for Anakin to fcuk up with OB1, and it wouldn't take him that long to dispose of GG. GG would most likely try to run first anyway.

It was Kenobi's Soresu that beat Grievous in the duel. Grievous wouldn't run from Anakin if he was winning, either.
