Confederacy of independent systems VS Alliance to restore the republic

Who would win? CIS has grievous, dooku, ventress, sidious. And rebels have luke, leia,Han,chewie. I think the confederacy would win because the sheer number of battle droids whould wipe out the rebels

If the Alliance can beat the Empire, they can beat the CIS.

Except they didn't. Also the entire Alliance navy lost to like...10% of the Star Destroyers in the galaxy. Also the Subjugator-class would whoop the Alliance's ass. Not to mention if its a prolonged conflict the CIS will eventually build the Death Star.

The Rebellion's victory over the Empire was a political one. On the other hand the CIS is a democracy (puppet democracy). The Rebellion will have no such advantages here.
