Fresh, unweakened HoT Vs Fully-powered Tenebrae

When HoT fought Tenebrae he wasn't fresh, he'd just fought through hordes of powerful Sith.

But Tenebrae had been dispelling all the accumulated life essence he'd absorbed in his ritual on his subjects for a thousand years.

Notice how the expedience in which he'd been able to eliminate each new Dark Council he created waned over the years. His first Dark Council was the strongest, his second filled with less talented Sith so he'd more easily control them. He eliminated his first Dark Council "in a flash of light".

Then it took him quite some time to eliminate later dark councils, and he could have been destroyed in his battle against Revan and Meetra - which he still won without a lightsaber.

Now against HoT he'd been fighting with a lightsaber, relying heavily on illusions.

IDK, but you don't lose to a any number of Jedi, however powerful they may be, I don't even care if it's Yoda + Starkiller II + Exar Kun + Ep 7 Luke Skywalker, when you possess trillions of times a normal life force - as Nihilus and Tenebrae would have possessed as fully fed nexuses. Palpatine, not quite there yet.

Nihilus consumed a world all at once, and his powers decreased as well, as he was starving, before facing Meetra and Visas, wounding the latter insured his defeat in that instance as well.

Tenebrae and Palpatine both ate the life essences of planets over a longer period of time, Tenebrae feeding upon more life forms and fully consuming them, and so yes Tenebrae's power was more sustained and was used up more slowly. But it was being used up none-the-less. He wasn't utterly immortal, as Plagueis himself claimed that Tenebrae was closest to achieving immortality, not that he had become entirely immortal yet.

Well I think it would be closer than it was in the game, since Vitiate wouldn't be too weak to throw around crazy Force powers.

HoT is nothing but an ant. He couldn't take out the first Sith Council, if he were to fight them. We're talking about like 12 Darth Thanatons here, of course HoT can take out Darth Thanaton, maybe two Sith as powerful as Thanaton at once. But not the entire first Dark Council don't be absurd. A nigh fully fed Tenebrae did it in a flash of light.

How are you born with more midi-chlorians than an entire world, much less actualize them as soon as you become a Jedi Master!?

Anakin didn't have enough midi-chlorians. Midi-chlorians are the stuff of life in Star Wars, btw. Force drain is more alchemy than sorcery because midi-chlorians are living objects that are being modified to give a Sith their essences as they vanish into the Force along with their hosts.

That's another thing, there are techniques in which a lightsaber is useless against.

That mind domination being a good example, but in this case Hero has no problem with that one. But then there's crazy attacks, I mean with somewhat less power absorbed from Byss, partially taking the collective life force of billions, Palpatine discovered techniques that he could use even after losing some of that power, like increasing the force sensitivity of his subjects, dominating minds, and summoning dark side wormholes.

So I don't think a lack of power prevented Tenebrae from using any number of techniques that he'd unlocked after ascending in power, even after losing that power. The techniques are mainly gained from corruption, as with Jedi techniques. The only difference is when you use Force drain on such a massive scale you get power as well as corruption.

Another thing is that the Hero was stronger than normal levels as he'd sacrificed so much to save his companion, the light side has its perks too. You gain light side alignment, which also increased your affinity with the Force and momentarily boosts your power, though not as extremely as Force drain. I'd argue Force harmony does, however, offer a similar boost to Force drain although it requires the midi-chlorians/hosts give you that life force consensually.

I don't see an entire planet of midi-chlorians channeling their life force through a Jedi. That has never happened. Although that was how Anakin was created and it may have been responsible for Vader's ability to become a Force ghost without ever practicing or having knowledge of the technique's existence. Again, light side alignment offers affinity. Anakin was created by the light side, he was a light side spirit, so under Palpatine's influence, with his dark side corruption, he could never realize his potential.

Being the product of Sith Lord progeny, not only was Tenebrae's species corrupted by the dark side, but his father was a corrupt Sith Lord. Tenebrae's spirit unlocked its potential very quickly when practicing the dark. Which was why he mastered despair, mind domination, and Force drain at such an early age. If Anakin had been pushed to do good he would have developed light side abilities even more extreme on Tatooine.

Anakin wasn't that aligned to the light-side until after he took the Emperor's life.

Yea I don't think HoT has a shot against a full powered Vitiate.
