On this forum we think AotC Kenobi >>> his RotS self. I thought it was pretty obvious, he put up a much better fight against Dooku there than in RotS, I mean cmon.
In the RotS novel Dooku was taken by surprise by Kenobi's Soresu, which he had never demonstrated in the past. Obviously this has been contradicted by their encounters in the Clone Wars, but in their AotC battle Dooku had never seen Kenobi practice it.
Dooku was actually impressed by Anakin and Obi-Wan's growth from the end of TCW to RotS. The problem is that Kenobi seems to not know what a Force Shield is half the time. Considering he doesn't have any remoteness of this growth, he'd have to blitz.
He was ragdolled by Dooku, an incredibly potent Force User. That's hardly a count against Obi-Wan.
Sure, Ventress also did it, but that was also in a state she's not usually in. She did the same to Anakin, who we all know is infinitely more powerful than she.
Other than that, it's just Maul, who only was capable of it on a Dark Side Nexus.
Didnt Savage choke him or send him flying with a force wave too?
