Son of Dathomir Duel [Continued]

Darth Maul and Dooku engage the Jedi Strike Team from Star Wars Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir #3.
However this time, Gar Saxon never incapacitates the Jedi! Who would be victorious in a battle to the death?

Id roll with the Sith.

It was so easy for Dooku to take out Tiplee, he'd take out Kenobi ROTS style, He moves to engage Windu (One considered almost equal, only slightly higher)

Maul would kill Aayla quickly, she's good, not that good. Then the two just take on Windu

The only question is if Maul could survive that long against Windu/Secura.
Probably, given his displays against Kenobi/Jinn when he wasn't at his prime.

At the very moment Mace overwhelms Maul, Dooku kills him.

I find it rather odd that Maul took on the stronger team, tbh.

Him going after Obi-Wan would be to obvious to the audience?

ares834 is online now!

Jedi. Mace and Kenobi > Dooku and Maul (and that is without taking Aayla into account).

Not really. The audience wanted to see a final Kenobi and Maul fight before Sidious came in.

Not anymore. Maul held off Aayla and Mace.

Exactly. They wanted and expected it. They didn't get it. Although if it doesn't happen in the last issue...

Not really. The duel would have been as long as your average TCW duel.

"Would have". Unfortunately it was a two panel fight.

The entire comic was only 23 pages. Realistically, each page was about a minute.
The entire fight was about a minute or two (your average Star Wars length fight.).

Nah. There were pages that "realistically" couldn't possibly last a minute. Besides which its irrelevant that is was going to be an episode. It wasn't, so whats on the page is the only relevant information. The fight was brief.

Like which pages? Of course for some of the dialogue pages, additional dialogue will be included in the show

Grievous jumping his two guards, Dooku accepting Mauls deal, Dooku and Maul entering their ship.

I didn't see you arguing that Grievous and Mauls fight would have been a minute long in the last issue.

I never argued against them either. The fights in this series, despite being poorly portrayed, was designed and intended to be for the TV series.
The fight will realistically be then as long as the ones in the TV series are, and in that show, not even Tarpals vs Grievous lasts merely a few seconds.

It doesn't matter what they were intended for. What we got was a 2 panel fight scene. Would it have been longer? Maybe. It wasn't. Thats the only important thing.

You do realize in the ROTS comic, the Yoda vs Sidious fight was merely like 4 panels? That mean's nothing in terms of combat.
