Unrealized potential has nothing to do with feats, nor does training, especially with characters like the Skywalkers who rely far more on natural ability.
You seem to not want to accept the fact that Luke was dueling evenly with Darth Vader, and perfectly mirroring his fighting style based on his intuition alone. This is something Anakin was not capable of during AotC and he has no feats to exceed it. I suspect you're about to say that Vader was holding back and didn't want to kill Luke, but then he self-admittedly states that he has no qualms about killing Luke something like halfway into the fight, and, simply avoiding killing someone is different from holding back. Dooku has opted not to kill Anakin or Kenobi but that doesn't mean he was holding back any skill on them - you can still wound characters and win the fight without killing them. And, there are some sources which note that Luke himself was holding back on Vader before becoming enraged.
Luke is right up there with Vader, Maul, Kenobi and Ventress in terms of skill, despite the common misconception that a lack of training detriments him in any way.
Hey? How does unrealized potential get realized? Through practice and training obviously. Some students are more natural learners, but even putting ROTJ Luke on par with AOTC Anakin would make Luke a massively faster learner.
Because it's not like it was Vader's intention to defeat Luke. What was is intention? On the Dark Side it was to get him to unleash his fury until he goes down the path of the Dark Side. On the Light Side of his intentions he didn't want to hurt Luke at all. Which he admits at the end when he tells Luke "You were right about me, tell your sister you were right."
Anakin as of AOTC, is said to be more skilled than his Jedi own Master Kenobi (according to Nick Gillard), and gives Count Dooku a run for his money. A few months later in TCW movie Anakin was pretty much stalemating Dooku in Sabers.
Most people here will agree Dooku is the superior Saber duelist to Vader.
At ROTJ? He's anywhere from TPM Kenobi level (minimum I'd say) to TCW Ventress level (Max) IMHO.
He's not at ROTS Kenobi, TCW Maul's, Vader's level for another few years.
