Sedriss QL was tangling with Ood-Bnar who was drawing force energies from Ossus and he himself was doing this as well and caused a powerful explosion.

A feeling of fullness, of power, of dark and demon mastery -- of secret lusts, unrestrained passion, wild submission -- all these things were in Vader's heart as he neared his Emperor. These things and more."
Based on feats though Krayt should be able to destroy them en masse, he's incinerated Sithspawn, destroyed pillars with his lightning, and killed an entire ship of Vong.

Question still though is however, is he gonna be able to do this while under fire? Or while also fighting against others?
Lighting is all well and good, but not gonna be great if they guys in question are gonna be taking fire from different angles of attack, seeing as the Troopers can fly about and are highly agile with their jetpacks.
Then factor in Dark Jedi here, is Lighting really gonna be that pivotal when there is constant danger?
Phase IIs are not *that* strong. Assuming this isn't phase Is.
And even Talon could bury a lot of them in earth or at least block their fire with an impromptu wall. TKing droids is a time-honored tradition.
There's ways to reduce the danger, though, like TK. And if they run up among the enemies, then they're less likely to be hit than other droids or the DSE.
You've got enough droids here to be pretty dangerous, but you've also got multiple strong sith on 'em with lots of force omph.
They actually are that strong, Phrik armor? Yeah...they eat blaster bolts, survive ships crashing into planets, survive being crushed by rockslides can withstand lightsaber hits and so on.
True the Sith have omph, but this isn't gonna be exactly a cakewalk for them, is what I'm gettin at.
Whether or not they survive being crushed by the rockslides is secondary to whether or not they're trapped by rock allowing the foes to face them in smaller quantity!
It wasn't a pre-Jedi Katar though. He was a Jedi before those events already and had Mara as apprentice although they were more like partners. Valley of the Jedi only allowed him to get back into shape quicker.
Razer do you have any accolades for Dark troopers out of curiosity?

This is Dark Forces 1 that he fought Dark Troopers. He had *no* force powers during the game. He didn't carry a lightsaber or know squat about the force.
He discovered he had Jedi heritage at the start of DF2. Met Mara after between games. Getting his powers back in the Valley was DF3/Jedi Knight 2.
Regardless you're thinking of the wrong type of trooper, Q.
Dark Troopers and Darktroopers are different--the latter are a squad of specially trained force-wielding operatives that are empowered by the Dark Side, put into use by the Dark Side Elite in DE. Katarn never faced them.
Pfft, they're just force sensitive stormies, that's not as dangerous as the droids. They don't have the jetpacks or massive firepower, Phrik armor, or such.
