Nox defeated Khem Val with a glorified training stick as an acolyte before facing Lord Paladous (whom unless I am forgetting was near Dark Council tier) with no connection to the Force at all and defeating him.

Nox defeated a weakened Khem Val that just got out of multi-milllennia Stasis, and Nox was also amped by the Tomb of Naga Sadow, an immense dark side nexus, which, as per the Jedi Academy Training Manual, outclasses the other Korriban tombs in terms of nexus potency.

Not saying that it isn't impressive, but I doubt it's a showing to put Nox above Savage.

Paladius was impressive, though, IIRC, but I can't remember anything about him being close to the Dark Council.

He ate like someone with a Dark Council member's income, judging by his size.

Having just looked, he was the DC elected representative on Nar Shaadha and was a very powerful Sith Lord whom led his own cult, he was very learned in Sith Sorcery, which was the entire reason Nox went after him in the first place.

Nox went after him because he had some Tulak Hord artifact, IIRC.
