They're fairly fast, and ten feet is enough for some warning.
Jumping all the way over all of them is a big, high-energy jump, and doesn't necessarily equal being able to get solo fights. Or at least, not more than one before the other four are moving as a unit.
Yes, but not so much they can't clash and defend, especially if working together. Heck, running speed is one of the areas I'd say Grievous compares favorably to most Jedi Masters.
If they chase him together, that does not mean trailing out and allowing themselves to get picked off, as long as they stay together it's a similar position to taking them on stationary. Indeed, that'd be good- he can get tired, they don't.
Grievous is not stupid, he is not going to run off solo against Sidious. If things drag on, that's also good.
He is also much smarter and a better tactician and a great deceiver as a fighter. He can find positions where he can just clash with one Grievous at a time and once its like 1v2, he'd clear the rest pretty quickly.
I'm not saying Grievous' don't have a chance, I'm saying Sidious has a chance too.
One of the key advantages Sidious has is that his 5 opponents can't coordinate for crap. If you have 5 Grievous in a circle, all of them doing two lightsabers on rotation mode with two in his other hands, the rotation mode lightsabers will just interfere with eachother. That's good for Sidious.

He's got combat algorithms that help him adapt to shit. I'm sure he can adapt to more of himself.

Nah, he knows how he likes to fight, and that works for him.
Sure, he can't do the spinny as much, but that's hardly his only move or best mode. Multiple means some can attack high while some go low, and others medium, at the same time.
That's *really* quite hard to do with 5 such mobile foes. It may be possible, but he'd have to burn energy like mad, and I think most of the time he'd still end up facing two.
