Zannah's defenses are simply impenetrable. The fact she can lose against majority of the opponents she fights is proof she can handle Malak's lackluster combat abilities and physical strength. Even though he resisted the Star Forge, Zannah's illusions should easily overpower him because it almost did the same for Darth Bane but failed (the latter part isn't that relevant but whatever). Zannah dominates.
