^ I do find it amusing that you've accused me of trolling by arguing for unorthodox positions (that were orthodox at various arbitrary times depending on random social patterns...), and yet 90% of your posts have less than seven words in them.
Anyway, I think that 2-4 are potential stops depending on how powerful Nihilus is without the gigadrain. With the gigadrain I see them making 9 or 10, where the characters IMO become powerful enough that they can probably resist the drain, have studied it, and/or can blitz Nihilus. With the Malachor amp, if we take Nihilus's TK of the Ravager seriously (given that its a claim of Traya's this is hardly an inarguable assumption) they might make it to 11.
