Galen Marek vs Darth Vader

Mmkay, lets settle this.

There are a lot of people on here who believe that Vader got stronger over time, or that he was legitimately just better then Marek in the first place.

Some believe he was holding back the entire time.

However, there are others who believe Marek beat him pretty soundly, and that Vader never surpassed him, or even had an increase in power from his duel with Marek till his death on the Death Star.

Anywho, with all that said, discuss!

In Legends, it's stated explicitly that he grows significantly stronger between ANH and ESB, and in the RotJ novel he feels like he's more powerful than he's ever been. There's no reason to think he stagnated between TFU and ANH for some reason.

Vader was Vader for longer than Anakin was a Jedi, and yet people treat his power level as a constant for some reason. He's likely surpassed Galen Marek by ESB, if not ANH.
