With respect to raw aptitude, Luke is definitely ahead. The only problem here would be Kun's fighting style, which Luke could find himself in deep water against. Otherwise, he takes it pretty cleanly.

Kun's unorthodoxy would catch Luke off-guard, but I doubt it would be the deciding factor since Luke is so much faster Kun would have trouble reacting, and so much stronger he could probably disarm Kun in a single blow.
Theres a more decrypt comparison to be made for their physical strength, and it concerns Mandalorian iron -- Kun smashing a fat wall of the stuff compared to Lumiya blocking the Grandmaster's blade with a 4 centi-meter hilt made from the same material.
I wouldn't normally us this comparison, but the exposed sophistry behind Sedriss and Kun has lowered the standards of fair game.

I'd say trading blows with Sidious - you know, the guy who easily overpowered Savage Opress - is a bit beyond Kun's ability to handle. And he's not exactly holding his saber very tightly with all his twirling, so I could definately see him getting disarmed in a single blow.

Luke was fighting so fast Leia - someone who ran ten miles while fighting stormtroopers at the same time in under a second - could barely see him move. That's beyond Kun's ability.
A combination of sheev's skill, speed, endurance and strength allowed him to overwhelm savage. Based on Strength alone, Savage was contending whether you like it or not. https://youtu.be/-7hBZNsPnyg?t=2m57s And more importantly, where are you making the comparison between Kun and Opress?
Explain.
That's nice, as war your attempt to reframe Bnar killing himself along with Sedriis into some flaccid scale against Kun. Now it's my turn.
There once was a Dark Lady who forged the handle of her lightwhip out of the near-indestructible Mandalorian iron, and uses that hilt to block opposing lightsabers, her name was Lumiya. Then one must remember that little incident with Luke Skywalker, where the Grandmaster confronts the person who (he thought) killed his wife, and decides to batter his opponent with signature Form V attacks:
Lumiya - while driven back to a cliff edge - still manages to parry every single one of the Jedi Grandmaster's strikes with the hilt of her whip. A hilt made of the same material that Kun - not close to his prime - destroys in two hits. So based on this comparison, Kun should just break Luke's arms upon impact. :-)

Sidious pushed back Savage who came at him with a downward vertical jumping attack, with one hand. The timestamp you posted - he was obviously holding back, for basically the entirety of the duel. That's the only reason Savage could push him back for one second.
Where am I making the comparison? Well, Kun's claim to fame in the realm of strength feats is breaking Mandalorian Iron. However, he only achieved this by bumping up the intensity of his lightsaber to its maximum: (please log in to view the image)
What does this mean? That Exar Kun was incapable of breaking MI with solely his natural strength, as can be observed from the comic when he failed on his first try. This is very clearly Kun's limit, so no other strength feats from him do not need to be mentioned.
Savage is much stronger than Kun. Sidious was overpowering Savage with laughable ease. Luke was trading blows equally with Sidious. Luke will disarm Kun in a single strike.
It is Kun's fighting style. He doesn't hold his saber tightly like most duelist, but instead twirls it around dexterously, one-handed: (please log in to view the image) (please log in to view the image)
This would make it easier for Luke to disarm him.
Or maybe Luke just didn't have his lightsaber at the maximum intensity? Kun couldn't break MI by himself, either. Regardless, Luke can do much better, as I proved previously. This is just a low showing.
