Well, I don't see why Maul can't just snap Sidious' neck if Sidious doesn't have a barrier.

We know from individuals like Grievous and others that Telekinesis can be dodged. We also know Palpatine is fast enough speedblitz either one of these guys, and he incapacitated Savage with one kick. Sheev wins tbh.
