They kind of are. Darksiders are the only capable to use the Star Forge. Doesn't this take place on the SF?

Malak gets healing continously with the SF. Unless Kun speedblitzes him, Kun MIGHT and MIGHT lose, but Malak will be extremely wounded.

Kun's amulet blasts seem to operate more similarly to laser cannons and the like than Force lightning. Although IIRC his blasts are pure, physical concussive force. So not exactly the same but similar.
So you can probably draw on environmental barrier feats to suggest if someone can tank said blasts.
