Given Peak Vos was dark side Vos who bested Dooku, will have to give it to Vos.

But im sure any fight between the two of them post ROTS would be epic.

Cool . Yeah dark side Vos seemed quite Uber.. he was pretty much like the jack of all trades etc .. yes will be awesome if it showed them duel ..
Amazing how he is still alive during the time 10 years after ROTS in the Kenobi show as Obi mentions his name etc he’s helping in smuggling young Jedi to keep them alive

Tv series !

Maul would actually make sense as a villain for him post ROTS given both their connections to the gangster underworld.

1. Lightsaber combat is surprisingly close. Dark Side Vos did defeat Dooku, but it was by exploiting Makashi's relative weakness to power attacks. Basically, the same style of advantage Anakin shared. I'd argue Dooku is still the technically superior swordsman between himself and Vos. Also, Dooku shared relative parity with Anakin at the time, while Maul and Kenobi are often portrayed as rough equals. Considering Obi-Wan and Anakin are largely equals as well, this puts all the characters on the same general footing in terms of lightsaber skill.

So it really comes down to Quinlan's power-based Ataru vs. Maul's staccato Juyo, and which would be more viable when the combatants are on roughly equal footing in terms of skill. And as we saw in The Phantom Menace, Maul could hold his own just fine against a power-based Ataru specialist (Qui-Gon). I'm inclined to give Maul the edge here, but it could very easily go either way.

2. H2H is Maul, no question. We haven't really gotten much from Quinlan in terms of H2H, but Maul has wrestled rathtars. Maul's H2H is just as much a part of his fighting style as his lightsaber skills, and he's equally frightening with both. Quinlan just doesn't stand a chance in that regard.

3. Has Quinlan displayed any impressive Force powers beyond his psychometry? Either way, Maul's displays of raw power in the Force are more impressive than anything I recall Quinlan pulling off. The feat from when he blasted Kenobi down a tunnel and simultaneously collapsed the whole tunnel in on itself, bringing down the Jedi shuttle, Maul has just displayed tremendous might in the Force.

4. All out, I've gotta give it to Maul. Roughly even duelist to Vos, but I'd argue he has a stylistic advantage. Far, far greater hand-to-hand combatant. And Maul has displayed a greater magnitude with the Force.

That said, I'm definitely onboard with the idea of seeing Maul and Vos face each other some time post-Order 66. I'm sure it could lead to an awesome story.

About Vos’s force feats in canon, at the beginning of his novel he used the force to lift and telepathically dominate the Sleeper, who was described as large crustacean creature. Guess it could be compared to an aquatic dinosaur. He also completely dominated Ventress but, tbf, he was pissed off because he had just learned that she killed his master. Also, it’s been years since I read the duel, but if I recall correctly he force pushed Dooku in one of their duels. Maul has that impressive reactor feat though

It wasnt Makashis weakness to power attacks that gave Vos the win over Dooku (not even sure thats a thing in canon).

It was his speed and unpredictability. And The unpredictability seemed attributed more to Vos himself than his lightsaber form.

Cool another thing I wasn’t sure about when vos fought Dooku was Dooku at a disadvantage ie had a broken arm in the duels against Vos?
