Wow, this is actually low-key a good fight.
Well, in one of Naruto's WEAKER states, he was able to tank an attack that cut off half the moon, and that was just collateral damage.
He then proceeded to win the fight against said moon-buster.
Later on in his adult life, he and Sasuke took on Momoshiki Otsutsuki and Kinshiki Otsutsuki, a duo who were apparently strong enough to scare Kaguya Otsutsuki, which is the one who (IIRC) sealed the Ten-Tails in the moon..? Or maybe that Hagoromo, either way Kaguya was more powerful then him. At his strongest this is some serious business you're dealin with here.
I don't think Morgoth/Melkor has what it takes to beat Naruto at his strongest in a straight up fight.
