Jafar! in sorceror form...

Shere Khan would beat Scar anytime. First of all, Shere Khan is a ruthless badass while Scar had to employ three imcumbent hyenas to do his dirty work for him. Plus, Scar was killed at the end while Shere Khan managed to survive two nearly fatal accidents. And, finally, Shere Khan is ten time sexier than Scar. I like Scar, but Shere Khan can whoop his ass.

I'm only picking from the ones I know. I haven't seen a lot of the movies mentioned below.

Jafar VS Hades is a very interesting match-up.

I think it could go either way.

I think the three are almost at par with each other: Jafar, Maleficent, and Hades.

Chernabog is of course on top of the food chain.
He was the complete opposite of Mickey Mouse, after all.

Jafar as a Genie could solo every other Disney villain, assuming that is the form he is in.

While he's supposed to be the embodiment of Satan, using screen-feats, all he did was summon ghost, goblins and demons in Fantasia.

Jafar did more in wizard form and as "the most powerful genie", well, just multiply what The Genie did and he can pretty much do anything.

As a Genie, Jafar wins it all. Well, as long as we ignore "Return of Jafar." If that counts, Hades could probably take him, since he was pretty lame in that one. Enjoyable movie, but still.

That's true, Jafar cannot kill as a genie.

But you'd be surprised what you can live through.

Chernabog is just the most awesome one here, though. Manipulation of fire, able to control demons and undead, and warp them into different forms at will. His minions had some of the most creepy undead I've ever seen in any media, by the way.

After that, Maleficent and Hades all the way.

It's enough for me. Chernobog was meant by Disney to be the purest and ultimate embodiment of evil. And Jafar has never rose the dead like Chernobog, genie or otherwise.

Anyway, Chernobog simply dumps Jafar's lamp into his volcano....
