Excellent and nearly forgotten 1985 animated sci-fi epic from Filmation (the guys who brought you "He-Man", "She-Ra", and "Fat Albert") for it's their best animated movie and a vast improvement over their previous animations with stunning animation and early CGI.
It's kind of like the story of Moses meets "Star Wars" and "Rock & Rule" about a slave from another planet that escapes with a magic bladeless sword for he goes on a quest to find the blade and joins with a scoundrel and a princess to free his people from a evil tyrant.
A must see!
