Anyone? lol Anyone that can't tell the difference between Celtic and Norse culture?

Or Bears and Dragons?

Or two completely different plot lines?

What I meant is, it has the same growing-of-age-i-want-to-be-a-hero plot line.

Since that's such an original plot line anyway.

So does just about every movie ever made for a younger audience. Or, well, basically everything ever. It's called the Hero's Journey and has existed for hundreds of years.

Anyway, saw it yesterday. It's definitely a very good movie! Not Pixar's best by any means, but it's still great. It's just...too short. Once things started picking up, everything felt very rushed.

Saw it last night; it was pretty entertaining, and I love films that explore my Celtic background (English/Irish/Scottish), but it wasn't a groundbreaking PIXAR masterwork. It will be thought of as middle of the pack. And the 3D actually strained my eyes.

The animation was top-notch, Merida's hair alone was fascinating to watch.

The story though was meh and one of Pixar's more boring films.
