I would say yes. Lightsabers are supposed to be able to cut through anything besides other energy, and, even though obviously adamantium isn't in the same story-universe as Star Wars, I think it would be implied that it could cut through that as well.

Of course we don't know for sure unless they made some sort of crossover...which they'd never do lol

Well I am not a Star Wars geek but I do think a light saber can cut through adamantium. Or atleast it should.

I mean come on a weapon used by their universes protecters should be able to cut a metal created by lowly Earth tech.

Probably, I also think the guy from WildCATS with the infinitely sharp blades could cut adamantium.

In episode one, when they were trying to evade the droidekas toward the beginning... (using an example not from the movies would be folly) ...the Nemoidians lowered the blast doors and, you may recall, it took Qui-Gon over a minute to burn through the doors. That is the only time when a lightsaber has met any resistance with anything.

...But it did. Which means it has finite powers.

It cannot (instantly) destroy anything.

Adamantium can withstand nuclear explosions without retaining heat. Thusly, I'd say adamantium. Whoever says the Hulk can tear it apart shall be instantly slain. This was the same person who said hulk could lift 100,000,000,000 tons.

this has been brought up before. some kind of thread like 'wolverine's claws vs lightsaber' or osmething stupid.

i think the general consensus was that lightsabers are supposedly pure energy or light so it should cut through adamantium, even if it takes a while.

And 'Lord Magnus', Hulk HAS bent it and broken it, and Hulk HAS lifted a billion ton mountain.

look it up.

That wasn't really resistance though, it was sheer thickness. The lightsaber, if you look closely, isn't long enough to go down all the way to the other side, so he couldn't just in one swoop clear all of the blast doors.

if he would lift a billion ton mountain he would be crushed from the pressure from having a very very very big object on the huld which is like 5 times the siez of a human so he would be crushed or like 50 feet into the ground

Iron Man: "There must be two miles of rock above us! How can even you hold that up Hulk...?"

Hulk: "I'm just BRACING it. I've got LEVERAGE. Still.. I don't know how long... seconds... a minute maybe..."

-----------

Truly infinite strength on display. wink

He BRACED the mountain, for less than a minute, whilst Reed supercharged Iron Man's repulsors.

Hardly a Superman-level feat, my friend.

smile

Where the hell did Superman come into this? He's a totally different level. He's moved entire planets.

I'm tired of arguing fanboys. Two years of it is more than enough. No wonder I don't come in here anymore.

Hulk lifted, braced, heaved, shat out, whatever, one billion tons. How many other superheroes can do that? A handful, tops. The point is he did it. Drop it already.
