Ultimates Vol 2 #12 is due out August 2nd 2006

The heroes captured by the invading villians happened off panel and it is setting up for them to all be featured in the final book of the series. It is unlikely that this will have any impact at all on the other books of the ultimate universe.

There is no information available yet about Vol 3 (so far as i can find)

edit: oops, i lied, ultimates 3 is being written by Jeph Loeb and drawn by Joe Madureira

It also looks like Loeb will stay around for Vol 4 with Ed McGuinness for art.

We will probably all get to see just how strong Thor REALLY is in #12 as marvel has promised on the promotion of the issue lots of Thor.

However, I beleive marvel is going to use Ultimates vol 2 #12 to clarify certain things about Thor, like weather or not he possesses any powers or simply enhanced through his belt.

As far as the Wizard thing goes, it is probably fairly accurate, Hulk does get a really impressive feat at the end of Ultimates 11 that i think might put him in another catagory entirely from the rest of these chumps. there is also that huge grey adaptoid whatchamacallit in X men and Fantastic Four, but thing makes quick work of it. really, they should have some of their top brawlers have it out, it'd be great smile
