make your own "What if?"

Fairly self explanatory.

Someone comes up with a scenario and the next poster comes up with a Corresponding "what if?" story (sorry if this thread has been done before, i did a search and it seems to be okay.)

I'll start...

What if Mystique had never abandoned Nightcrawler?

of course you don't have to start with that one, it's just an idea
