What if Marvel and DC traded off Superman & Spider-Man....

to each other back in the year 1986?

What would happen if Spider-Man(and some other Spidey characters)somehow appeared in the "Post-Crisis Earth" during the
Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline?

And finally, what would happen if Superman(some of Supes' other
characters) somehow appeared in the Marvel 616 Universe
with the Man of Steel continuity taking place on that interdimensional
earth as well?

Well, here's my theory on it.

With Supes' Man of Steel origin taking place on the Marvel 'verse,
Metropolis wouldn't existed and when Clark Kent grows up he
moves from Smallville to New York City to be a reporter for the
Daily Bugle(who also secretly becomes america's top-level
superhero dubbed Superman).

These Superman characters would also appear
on Marvel-Earth besides Superman.

Lois Lane
Jimmy Olsen
Lex Luthor
Lena Luthor
Lionel Luthor
Jonathan Kent
Martha Kent
Lori Lemaris
Lana Lang
Pete Ross
Zor-El
Lara-El
Lois' Family
Bizarro(MoS version and any other Bizarro appearing afterwords)

Smallville and Krypton would still exist(only change to suit the MoS
continuity), Kryptonite would have the same effect to Big Blue like
the Pre-Crisis days and SuperMAN would never have been
SuperBOY.

The Man of Steel mini-series would be followed by three four-issue
minis(like what really happened back in 1987-88), only The World of
Metropolis wouldn't exist(possibly).

In issue three of The Man of Steel mini, Superman would've met
Captain America instead of Batman(Post-Crisis version), Supes would
admire Cap and then both men would be the best of friends(in a way
that would make them the "new" World's Finest).

Superman would have no memory of his Pre-Crisis past life, heck, he
won't remember his time on the "main" DC Universe and
it's multiverses.

Louise Simonson would be hired by Marvel to write more storylines
and adventures starring Supes and his supporting cast.

I don't whether TPTB at Marvel would hadthe Superman title
renamed as The Adventures of Superman or not, but I do believe
they would cancelled World's Finest for some reason besides not letting
Supes team up with the DCU's greatest heroes again in that title.
It's also more likely that Supes receive more comic titles(besides
only having one or two of them).

But, of course, Marvel will now have to deal with the Siegel
Family(who would more likely do their darnest to reclaim
ownership of Superboy, if not Superman).

And comic fans everywhere would actually see and hold in their
hands...the first ever, published issue of Ultimate Superman.

Now as for Spider-Man and the rest of Spider-Man characters,
some will be intorduced to the DC Universe, some won't.
Some characters origin/backstory would change, some won't.
I don't know whether there would be more or less Spidey titles
if DC claims Spidey, but I suppose Peter Parker(Spider-Man)'s
would still be more or less the same like the Marvel 616 Universe
origin.

And maybe Spidey might be apart of DC's trinity(which also includes
Batman & Wonder Woman) taking the Man of Steel's place in it.

Spider-Man would more likely appear on the Justice League and Justice
League Unlimited cartoons(only as a young adult) and I can already
imagined Peter & Wally being the best of fast buds. Batman & Spidey
wouldn't be friends or anything, but they'd have a certain respect for
each other(just like in that Spider/Batman crossover comic way back).
And who knows maybe DC would've produced a Spider-Man: TAS
too(and would likely produced an animated and/or live Spider-Man
movie).

Well, those are my theories on how this scenario would play out.

If ya'll have any answers, questions and/or theories, post me about.

Well, late'.

I meant punk ass Clark Kent/Superman. Recent versions of Hyperion have been badasses and Sentry is too loco for Supes to mess with.

Then there'd be a lot of Batman/Spiderman team ups.
