DC Strength Question

Using Marvels strength scale(best scale we got so far since dc doesn't have one), What DC characters would be below 100 ton mark? Meaning 5-10 ton range, 20-30, 40-50, ect.
I can think of a few only off the top of my head. Most of the characters DC gives super strength too automatically have 100+ ton strength.

Bane - He is in the 2 ton range with venom.
Killer Croc - Same as bane (give or take)
Aquaman- hes in the 40-60 range right?

who else?

The marvel scale is good up until you get to over 100 tons, Then it sucks and its all speculation.

We've had strength threads before and they all end up closed. It's ALL speculation (within certain ranges, of course), because it's largely in the writers' hands.

There's no accurate way to quantify most people. Power levels, sure. But trying to assign a Ton level is impossible for nearly anyone of import.

I'll give this thread a bit for the point to sink in, but it probably won't stay open.

heh.

But as far as I can think DC doesnt have many below 100 tons guys/gals. They are automatically 100+ if they have super strength.

Im sure some more will come to me.

Clayface - a few tons maybe?

Your right. Its pretty much all speculation. I was just wondering how many characters people could name not being ULTRA Strong just pretty strong.
If it sucks then close it sad

I would say go by what you see on panel. For example, we've seen Hulk support a mountain face, pull together tectonic plates etc... and yet Marvel says he is in the "100 ton" class. We know both of those feats requires greater strength then it would take to lift 100 tons.

Cl. 100 means above 100, so it could be anywhere from 101 to infinity. Marvel has stated this before, so it's not really inconsistent with Hulk's character.

grodd is way stronger than a few tons in a flash comic he picked up a taxi cab with one hand, tossed it thru an apartment building, and it came out the other side, fast enuff to still be blurred on panel....you gotta undertand that DC is built for the "gods" and its a fool's errand to compare it to marvel in any way

Yeah not really trying to comapre, Just curious as to how many characters people could name that were just pretty strong not over the top like hurling buildings and islands like nothing.

well you think of maybe hawkman...with the anti grav propertiies of the nth metal harness he and hawkwoman have been shown to have incredible feats of strentgh without being out of order about it...like easily toss around those maces that weigh a few hundred pounds. i would put them at about 2-5tons with thier harness on

which is why Cl.100 is such a stupid classification as it lumps a guy who barely lifts 100 tons together with another who easily lifts 1,000,000,000 tons.

Clayface and Croc should be about the same strenght level. Bane should be above both of them.

Can Batman beat and be at the same strenght level? Absolutely NOT!

Batman may know HOW to defeat them. But pound for pound....Bats can't be equally stronger.

I propose...
100-ton class: 100-900 tons

kiloton class -
- low kiloton: 1000 - 9000 tons
- mid kiloton: 10,000-90,000 tons
- high kiloton: 100,000-900,000 tons

megaton class -
- low megaton: 1,000,000-9,000,000 tons
- mid megaton: 10,000,000-90,000,000 tons
- high megaton: 100,000,000-900,000,000 tons
quote: (post)
1,000,000,000 tons.
Low gigaton class cool
