who would you want Galactus to have as his herald?
I have the Fantastic Four comic where Johnny gets his powers switched with Sue, then gets " invited " to be Galactus' herald and I was wondering, if you could make anybody in Marvel, DC, or any other comics into Galactus' herald, who would it be?

He'd have to be pretty old because Surfer spent centuries in service to Galactus before encountering Earth. If they decide to explore it I hope they make him Galactus's new herald.

I think the perfect herald for Galactus would be Apocalypse. It works on many levels. Apocalypse believes in Survival of the Fittest and growth through overcoming hardships. Galactus is pretty much the top of physical being food chain in the Marvel U and a level at which Nur wishes to achieve. Apocalypse can use Galactus as the "hardship" to test countless species "fitness" for survval, culling the weak in the universe from the strong. It expands Apocalypse's range of influence from Earth to the Universe as a whole, bolsters his already formidable powerset (Apocalypse powers + Power Cosmic as a supplement = Very, Very, Very High End Herald). On top of that Apocalypse isn't actually "evil", he beleives he serves a "higher purpose" of testing the living so that the strong survive, which is almost parallel with "cosmic consonance". Apocalypse already has centuries of loyal service to the Cellestials under his belt, genius intellect, experience with high end technology, etc. It's perfect.
Hell, Galactus may even allow Apocalypse to create a team of sub-heralds (a Cosmic Four Horsemen) to make the planet finding process more efficient.

Apoc is suckless, it's his writers that suck. DC would do him better.
Id like to see him with the PC aswell.

Agreed, but Apocalypse is certainly evil, regardless of whether he considers himself to be evil

I don't think Pocy would be very good at the job. He'd likely want to "test" worlds to see how strong the inhabitants were before offering them up as lunch, but Galactus doesn't really care about that kind of thing and I doubt he'd be willing to wait around and pass up potential meals just because Apocalypse has deemed them worthy of existence.
It would be cool to see him with the Power Cosmic though, they'd probably portray him a lot like Tyrant.
