Atomic Robo
Don't know if you guys follow the Red 5 Comics , but Atomic Robo is one of their most awesome titles currently out.
The writer is Brian Clevinger, writer of 8-bit Theater and Nuklear Age, so you can imagine the comic is pretty awesome.
The comic book is about Atomic Robo Tesla, a robot with AI created by Nikola Tesla in the early 1900s. The dude acts basically like a superintelligent Deadpool, sans healing factor and...you know....he's a robot
There have been 3 volumes so far, volume 1 has 6 issues, volume 2 has 5 issues, volume 3 has 5 issues (the last one coming out this month). There are also 3 short one-shots.
The character is awesome, the humor is great and it's really a breath of fresh air from the constant "oh noes, ethical and moral dillemas, what to dooo" that DC and Marvel have been tossing out these past few years.
I've tossed in a couple of scans to hopefully spark some interest in the character.
Volume 1:
This is from an issue where Atomic Robo has a flashback of being sent to Mars in the 70s to make sure a probe isn't destroyed. However, once he gets on the shuttle he finds out Stephen Hawking wrote a bogus psych evaluation for him which said he has a stand-by mode for the 1 year journey, and so no reading material is needed...which he doesn't. So he goes slightly insane.
