Is the Worthy worth reading?

I searched for this, and didn't find any threads dedicated to this title.

So, is anyone reading The Worthy? Is it worth buying? What exactly is it about? I know the characters involved, but not sure where they're getting their new powers from.

Any advice would be appreciated.
