My opinion? This has zero impact.
There have been multiple X teams (and Avengers teams, and over at DC multiple JL teams) for years now.
Most of them (the X books) get cancelled and start again at #1 every 12 isssues.

Depends who's writing them i guess, I may check them out
the only X-Men related book that i've been getting lately has been All New Wolverine.
