Man-Beast (originally called Super Beast ) was once an ordinary wolf, that was captured by the master geneticist, the High Evolutionary, to be yet another one of his New Men (Part human, part animal).
It was just "One of those days" for the High Evolutionary. All these years and never failure. That was, however, until the Mighty Thor clashed in!
(This is also the very first appearance of the High Evolutionary himself)
The High Evolutionary furiously demands to know who has interrupted his experiment. Thor explains that he is searching for his mortal love, Jane Foster, and had learned that she was here at the High Evolutionary's citadel.
The High Evolutionary points to direction where Thor can find Jane Foster. Then, an explosion suddenly occurs in the Genetic chamber. The High Evolutionary realises that he had left his Evolutionary Ray on, evolving the wolf inside to the endpoint of human and lupine evolution. Man-Beast is born!
And you wanna know what the first thing Man-Beast does? He attacks the god of thunder himself!
Man-Beast is able to sense vulnerable pressure points in bodies of others, as he does here with Thor and attacks him with a deadly karate chop
The High Evolutionary interferes, and attacks Man-Beast with his sub-sonic discordion, a super powered dog whistle designed to bring instant death to any wolf. But even Man-Beast, although while effected, is still too strong for it.
Man-Beast flees until he has escaped it's range. Thor attempts to stop Man-Beast, and throws Mjolnir at him.
But Man-Beast simply generates a force field that is able to repel Thor's hammer!
Man-Beast then locks himself in a vault, which he then fortified with an anti-matter barrier, capable of disintegrating positive matter; as shown.
The Man-Beast then located the genetic accelerator and used it to create an army of his own New Men, and Thor again squares off against the Man-Beast.
Man-Beast attempts to disintegrate Thor's hammer with a simple elementary mind blast! But Thor manage to overpower him and succeeds taking down Man-Beast.
The High Evolutionary drives Man-Beast and his own New Men into the Star Chamber, which is launched into space, sending Man-Beast and his own creations into the distant galaxy Dromisana.
However, this was not the end of Man-Beast. And he would return, fighting High Evolutionary at Counter Earth, as well as Adam Warlock, and again, Thor.
Well. This all I have for now. If anyone els have possibly any Man-Beast feats, then please, do post them.

Ya know, the Warlock thread kicks ass, and is a good chronological timeline of Warlock's various incarnations. But it's a bit sparse in the Counter-Earth/High Evolutionary/ManBeast era. There has to be at least a few, but I think it's missing quite a bit.
