Extras (the Topcow verse has recently expanded its mythos).
Excalibur (The Witchblade Twin) and the Unholy Union (name pending the child of The Darkness & The Witchblade) are directly related to the above as well.
These are Gods creations, 7 items that are complete opposite to one another. Yet define every plane in existence. However bring the items together at once, and you will gain the most powerful force in the Universe.
What are these items? Gods final message to his own creation.
What is the Rapture? Its an item that grants Hope or takes it away. However it has another purpose…..The Rapture is the final deciding factor in “The End of Days”. The deciding factor, in which it decides who gets to run, and rules over Hell.
And if Tom so chooses, he could expand the giving or taking of hope to grand scale display…to the entire world. With no hope, humans tend to doubt themselves, and commit suicide. Good for us, Tom has only applied this ability when he makes physical contact.
The Rapture grants the wearer seemingly invincible attributes. Meaning he can not be killed by normal means…not until Mr. Black found ways to kill of demons and apparently the bearer of the rapture through technological means. Or the opposite force of the Rapture, Despair.
Seemingly these are only two ways of combating or killing of “The Rapture” bearer:
1) Through the opposite power, “Despair“. It cancels out The Raptures ability to grant/take hope.
2) Any weapon or means to discharge anti-matter.
