Although he was winning his fight against Doctor Strange, unfortunately, that battle weakened the barrier that is keeping the rampaging Mindless Ones. And even though Doctor Strange helped Dormammu contained the Mindless Ones, he shows anger for the fact he needed help from Doctor Strange.Which is understandable since he now owes Strange.Again, another example of a massive ego.
Although Doctor Strange defeated Dormammu in the pincers of power, He soon find out that the dreaded one became more determined and cunning in destroying him.Dormammu went so far to use Clea in order to lead Doctor Strange to face a powerful foe named Tazza.
Dormammu's cunning is in display in this issue. He sets his plans into motion.First by thwarting Eternity from interfering by erecting a barrier to blind the cosmic entity of time to his evil deeds. And second, luring Doctor Strange in the Nether World were Dormammu's oath wont prevent him from destroying him.
Though Dormammu's cunning is in display, we cannot deny that his massive ego is in display as well.He is the only being known to have fought Eternity without relying on any plan to defeat the cosmic entity of time.Again "MASSIVE EGO!"
Note:Although I have mentioned Dormammu's massive ego many times already, don't get me wrong.A powerful villain with a massive ego is more interesting to me.Dormammu would no doubt win a contest of massive ego.
When Doctor Strange released Zom, the Living Tribunal appeared before him to tell the severity and consequence of what he did.The Living Tribunal shows images of practitioners of magic. One of the images shows the dread Dormammu.
