This section will feature all the things The Makers have created. And their feats where applicable.
Children of the Makers
These are sentient mechanical/biological beings who's main objective is to absorb energy from nearby stars so they can transport the eggs they contain around the Microverse.
---
These scans give a brief origin on the Children of the Makers while also showcasing one absorbing the energy of a nearby star.
These scans show the biological section of the Children of the Makers. Also giving you a bit more of the backstory. And also the fact that the Children host eggs.
In this set of scans it shows more abilities of the Children of the Makers, they are able to alter the genetics of Huntarr, describing his genetics as a mess and fixes them at least to what appears perfect to an alien being. It can also communicate telepathically.
And here we have the complete view of the Child transforming into it's spaceship form, also including Huntarrs new form and the egg he brought back from inside the Child. They also claim to be able to go at "infinite speed" by using zero energy.
The Micronauts arrive on a planet created by the Makers that appears very strange, all animal and plant life is coated in Mercury. Bug also attempts to burn a piece of a "leaf shaped" object only to be wounded (he believes it is due to the object firing a laser at him when in fact it is just the object reflecting the beam back).
And as shown later on in the same comic after bugs coated in the Mercury attack the Micronauts are vaporised by "laser light". Arcturus says "It seems the atmosphere of this planet is one giant laser --- any light transmitted is amplified enormously".
Here the aliens underneath the planet say that the Makers built a band of mountains from crystal to focus the light from the rising sun through the planets atmosphere.
The Egg that Huntarr brought aboard the Micronauts ship finally hatches, and also worth noting the energy of the egg was able to fuel the ship to fly between stars.
The infant creature then fights evenly with Huntarr before warping the structure of his body (which it did so that Huntarr could cure his fellow Micronauts of severe radiation poisoning).
Scans From The Micronauts - New Voyages #8, #9 & #19
The Makers are responsible for creating the Spiral Path which according to Acroyear is "A formation that dwarfs the galaxies of Earth's cosmos --- yet shaped like a giant DNA spiral". One of the aliens further adds "They did not create this Universe, but they did make the life here--seeded the unnumbered worlds and more...They have taken the fabric of the cosmos and woven it anew, to change its form from that of randomness to that of structured and renewing life--Infinite Life!"
This feat is not specifically a creation of the Makers but I feel it fits here rather than having another category altogether. The aliens native to the "laser light" planet have 2 neighbouring stars. One of them is known as The Dreaming Star, which according to the aliens was "altered by the hand of the Makers into a true wonder of the cosmos!". Arcturus briefly adds "they seem to have remade worlds wholesale".
And to make it even more impressive the alien states "The makers, by some unguessable process have made the material of this star psychoactive--that is to say it absorbs the impressions of a beings thoughts--and obeys that minds commands!", "A star has more power than we mortals can ever comprehend--and so a being in communion with the star can manipulate as much power as he can conceive. Here a beings power is limited only by his mind and there is power enough for all"
Then one little tidbit, Arcturus via a mind link merges with the "mind" of the Dreaming Star, when he does the feeling is described as "A vast web of lives, of knowledge, wisdom, passion--a million million dreams and joys, interwoven and unutterably magnificent--the serenity and the elevation of the divine combined with the rich diversity and soaring emotion of the human--and he is there, he is part of it!".
The egg Huntarr brought abroad the ship hatched as we know and preceded to fight him (and later aid him), by now the creature has evolved into the being known as Scion.
And to further showcase Scions abilities he assists the Micronauts in breaking a hole in the Spacewall (something which the entire fleet of the aliens under the "laser light" planet, attacking in a concentrated beam were unable to achieve). He absorbs the energy from the ships thruster and manage to dent the Spacewall. His temperature also goes up to 10,000 degrees in the process an shows no signs of harm from this.
As they are fighting creatures known as the Wanderers the Micronauts discover a stone bearing the symbols of the Zodiac, which according to Scion is the alphabet of the Makers, Scion then takes in the power of the 3 Zodiac symbols, note it is never clarified if it is the same Zodiac weapon that is used by the Earth based Avengers enemy group with the same name. Scion also explains that the Makers reshaped the Microverse into it's present form.
It is revealed that Solitaire herself is a Prime Being created by the Makers,And she is still alive now due to defying the purpose set out for her by the Makers.
There is another Child of the Makers shown (not specified as a Prime being straight away) called Fireflyte, she is the 2nd stage of a life cycle after a character called Devil, a friend of the Micronauts.
As the Makers themselves only have 2 actual appearances in comics a lot of their "feats" will be in the form of statements by other characters. All contained in this section.
A Child of the Makers states "They made you (referencing Arcturus Rann) and me of course and have remade the Universe toward Infinite Life", also note in this story Universe here means Microverse.
A member of the alien species underneath the "laser light" planet states that "This star system was shaped by the Makers for their greater glory and their quest of infinite life".
Scion goes into great detail on the Makers by saying "the Makers looked at universes upon universes--and saw their process, from their big bang to their entropy", "They looked on life and conciousness and the spirit--and decided to give this universe the gifts its tiny constituents had", "they remade the stars, the planets, the galaxies--and drew beings from elswhere, to support the spirit of creation, to be champions of that life" and finally "to have reshaped this universe so it resembled the structure of life--to have changed the spiral whirlpools of galaxies into the DNA structure of The Spiral Path--what kind of beings could have done all that".
Arcturus goes into great detail on the Makers design of Homeworld and other planets in the system. "Of course we know the sphere and cylinder shape of our planets are normally impossible---gravitation would collapse them in a second. But we had long known that other forces counter balanced that, even as they powered the mini suns which orbited our world", "It was the hand of the Makers that did this. I now know--and they made the worlds of the spiral path to be far more than just worlds", "The Makers sought to refashion this universe so that it resembled the molecules of life, so that it would rise above the randomness and decay in the same way we small creatures triumph over our limitations" and finally "Our worlds powered their own Suns--and they clung to one another with forces beyond our ken! We lived below great power--great power indeed, though shackled by the Makers themselves" (see Solitaire's origin story scans in this thread for a good drawing of the planets).
As you may have noticed in the scans the word Microverse and Universe seems to be used interchangeably in some cases. Adding further to the mix up is characters referencing the Universe containing Earth. So we know the Makers didn't create the Marvel 616 Universe (as it was already around when they originated it seems).
Even further so when it is referenced as a place made by Prince Wayfinder. Did the Makers create this, how could they have done when Wayfinder did it first. or is it the actual Microverse. All a bit of a mindmess really haha.

Who created the design for the Makers?
They seem to have some "Kirby" in them, but something else too
They look bad as hell
It would have been something, if the Celestials invaded and were met by the Makers.
I had no idea this was such a deep, high-brow book.
Somewhere, I have Micronauts vs X-Men. I am gonna have to try and dig it up.

Peter Gillis was the writer for this volume of Micronauts. The artist(s) were Kelley Jones, Howard Bender and Rod Whigham and inks were done by sometimes Bob Sharen, Danny Bulandi and Bruce Patterson.
