Was that beast anywhere near Hulk's level of sheer power? I know which episode you're talking about, and that thing couldn't hold a candle to Hulk. Beast Boy was strong in that form, but no where close to Hulk's level. He can try it if he likes, but the result will be the same: Hulk turns him into green paste.
