if so, Micheal Schumacker (you know, the ferrari man), well he donated 13million of his own money, his bodyguard was killed in the tsunami.
and australias donated 150+million, and thats not including the governments donations.

I think in general the super rich and famous here in the US have been typically stingy.
Most movie stars in the us have only donated several thousand.
One pair of their shoes cost more than what they have donated! 
Except for Sandra Bullock and Leo. 
Bill Gates could easily donate a billion and not miss it.

Bill Gates isn't THAT rich, most of his wealth is tied up in the business 
well, he probably could donate it and still live the life he leads now
