One more time...........

Can someone tell me EXACTLY what an ''emo'' kid is,I know I have asked before but I am confused again smile

Last time from what people said I got the impression of kinda Gothic wannabees or demented weird kids confused

Now from Ronny's new sig I am under the impression they are homosexuals or experiment a lot............I dont know,sorry but I just CANT understand what an ''emo kid'' is..........

Emo stems from the term emotive hardcore. Bands such as Minor Threat, Fugazi etc. Based on the type of music, nostalgic lyrical content etc. It then got shortened to emocore and people who love to label things they don't know, started calling OTHER bands emocore. Which then became emo. Most of the "emo" bands you see aren't emo bands at all.

KMCD, there allot of types of emo kids

1) gay guys
2) sad and depressing type
3) people that just like dressing like there sad and depressed ( they do this for attention)
4) guys that dress emo cos girls think it's hot
5) I don't know anymore but I'm sure there are more

It's just a look, like the gangster kids, prep kids, punk kids, and all the other stuff

You're all wrong and you're all generalising.

Before someone replies, no, you are actually wrong by definition. Mist posted what emo is.

The "kids" you refer to are trend whores, and they appear in fans of any genre. Emo gets singled out for no good reason at all. Music genre is irrelevant.

Emo doesn't mean emotional either, damn kids.
