Tilted Tongue Rings
Oh man. Okay, my tongue piercing is 3 weeks old and the bar it got pierced with is SUPER long. It's currently tilted sideways so that it could lay flat in my mouth and I'm worried that it might stay like that permanently. I don't get to put a shorter bar in for at least a week or two more. Does anyone know anything about tounge rings that lay sideways?

NO it wont, the healing bar is supposed to be long, to allow for movement, so your tongue heals.
But 3 weeks?!?!? Its time for you to get the shorter bar now.
and no it wont stay sideways, the tongue heals SUperfast, so go get the shorter bar and the hole will adjust itself to it
but why ask us, go ask the person who pierced it for you.

Actually, the tongue will grow around it, so you have a tongue that sets off metal detectors.

I took mine out and got a shorter one in on week 2.
And like fini said, the healing bar is suppose to be long. I had mine tilted too.
If you're really concerned ask the person who gave you the piercing. They're suppose to give you a free check up anyways
