The Thing is thats just 2/3 of Central Town.
And only about 1/15 of the total City / Island.

Looks much much better with the contrast, you can see details much more clearly.
Contrast = best function in Photoshop.

Auto Contrast + Auto Levels. 
But for the finer stuff I do it by hand.

Pffft, I NEVER touch auto-anything in PS. I do it entirely by hand much much finer control with that.
I won't even use magic wand for cutting things out.
