Tyroc was a member of DC's 30th Century teenage hero group, The Legion of Super-Heroes. He was originally drawn by Mike Grell, but I believe that Cary Bates was the principal writer at the time. His primary power was through his voice. His shouts could cause structures to crumble, deflect objects, defy gravity, behave like a force-field and disable villains

when they first met Tyroc held off and almost defeated the LOSH all by himself. (superboy included)
